官方版 15 天試玩

玩 Odyssey 也有一段時間了，除了偶爾會玩其他私人伺服器外，並沒有接觸過官方的UO，
不過官方有提供 15 天試玩的版本，因此將最近申請的流程分享一下，有興趣的人可以試試看。

首先下載官方提供的版本 Ultime Online: Gold：

記得沒錯的話，這個版本共有五個資料片，包含AOS，而現在官方最新則是有七個資料片，多了武士帝國及蒙丹遺產。

下載連結是由兩個檔案下載的網站所提供，分別是 Fileplanet 及 Gamespot，應該都是需要先註冊帳號的。我選擇使用 Fileplanet，註冊帳號再填寫一個表單後，就會有 Email 寄來：

This code will allow you to create a new Ultima Online account with 15 days of FREE service. To create a new account go to http://www.ultima-registration.com and select the Edit Acct option. Follow the instructions and enter your 15-day code when asked for it.

Email 內容主要是提供了一組開帳號用的序號。接著就要再到 Fileplanet 進行檔案的下載，Fileplanet 自己有一套檔案下載的程式要先安裝，至於 UO 的部分，檔案大小約 600MB 多一點。

下載完成之後就要安裝了，安裝前請注意，如果你有玩 Odyssey，也就是使用 T2A 版本的話，建議你先執行 regedit 將 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online 底下的註冊碼都先備份，免得新安裝的版本會把部分的設定蓋掉。安裝目錄也要用一個和 Odyssey 的不同目錄。

最後是要到 http://www.ultima-registration.com  去註冊帳號，不過當我要用 Email 裡面的序號來啟用帳號時，卻一直不能通過，最後只好寫信去給 EA 的客服，客服在幾天後回覆了：

Please see that after the free trial, the account will be suspended and to continue playing using this account, you will need to purchase the retail version of the game and upgrade the account using the upgrade code provided with the game.

看起來應該是可以用了，但是我還沒連上去玩，先分享一下，有興趣的人也可以試試。
